At the Film School at Odder Hojskole you will have time and possibility to explore the world of film, artistic effects, and you will work hands on with film and TV-production. You do not need to be a professional, but we expect that you have ambition and drive.

The Danish Film Institute (Det Danske Filminstitut) mentions Odder Hojskole as giving its students the possibility to be part of the film narrative in the future. This is because the course is designed and led by people in the film business who are very enthusiastic about the concept and about working with students.
Some of our students have worked with film making at school or come from film institutes abroad. Others are taking a break from University or have way different professional backgrounds as for instance carpenter , ocean biologist, or a UN-soldier. However, they all share the passion for film making.
