We offer long-term Højskole stays two times a year. Below, you can see the start and end dates for each stay.

All our long-term Højskole stays follow the same structure: three modules where you chose your subjects, three project weeks (Ø-week), and a studytrip. You can see an example of the schedule here and explore the subjects offered within our nine subject areas:

Spring 2026

January 4 – June 20

Join Odder Folk High School in the spring of 2026. In addition to the three modules with classes and the three project weeks focused on one subject, we’ll go on a trip to Berlin. In the end of the stay we will also visit the Democratic festival at the Danish Island, Bornholm.

Autumn 2026

August 5 – December 15

Join Odder Folk High School in the autumn of 2026. In addition to the three modules with classes and project weeks focused on one subject, we’ll go on a trip to Berlin. To wrap up the stay, you’ll have the opportunity to go on a ski trip to Norway.

Spring 2027

January 10 – June 26

Join Odder Folk High School in the spring of 2027. In addition to the three modules with classes and the three project weeks focused on one subject, we’ll go on a trip to Berlin.

Prices for Folk High School Stays

What does a folk high school stay cost? The price varies depending on whether you want to stay in a double room or a single room, and whether you prefer accommodation in our older dormitory or our newer dormitories.

The price of your folk high school stay includes tuition, study trips, cultural events, meals, and lodging.
