Study Trips
At Odder Højskole you have the opportunity to experience the world. In each course we have a study trip included in the weekly price.
Normally we are going to a huge european city by bus or train – not the airplane, because it is very important for us to do as little impact on the climate as possible.
The trip is arranged by the staff, so we are sure that everybody will the have opportunity to experience some of the coolest things. But students also have the chance to do have an influence on the schedule with all the good ideas they have.
In addition to this, we have got extra study trips following your stay at the school. After the Spring semester we are going to Folkemøde on Bornholm, which is a biggest democracy festival in Denmark. And after the Autumn semester we are going on a skiing trip to Norway. Both of these trips costs extra.
Berlin
It is more than 30 years since East- and West Berlin were reunited. Since then, Berlin has become the cultural center of Europe.
Here you find dirty undergrounds and clean high class, and it is a city marking both peace, freedom, war and seperation.
On this study trip, we will experience the dramatic history and find different angles on culture and art. Berlin has it all and there is something for everyone, no matter what subject or interests you may have.
The study trip is included in the regular weekly price.
Hamburg
Sometimes we all go to Hamburg which has grown into one of the most hip cities in Northern Europe.

Additional to the Autumn semester: Skiing
In addition to your stay during the fall semester, it is possible for you to go skiing for 5 days in Norway.
The trip is an additional trip right after the end of the autumn semester in December.
Additional to the Spring semester: Peoples Political festival in Bornholm
In addition to your stay during the spring semester, it is possible for you to go to the Political festival at the Danish island of Bornholm.
The trip is an additional trip right after the end of the spring semester in June.
