Create experiences
In Event & Communication at Odder Folk High School, you’ll learn to create unforgettable experiences and tell stories that stick. You’ll be guided through the process of bringing your wildest, weirdest, or wisest ideas to life — from concept to planning, execution, and finally, a meaningful and instructive evaluation.
Creating a successful event demands a wide range of skills and strong collaboration. You’ll need to manage budgets, understand your target audience, and communicate with clarity and impact. It’s challenging — but when an event truly connects with its audience, the feeling is absolutely unbeatable. When you and your proud teammates watch all your hard work come together, it’s nothing short of euphoric.
In Event & Communication, you’ll work with everything from leadership, budgeting, and marketing to strategic partnerships, accounting, and audience analysis. You’ll learn to communicate — both when things are going smoothly and when they’re not. Along the way, you’ll meet some of Denmark’s sharpest project leaders, entrepreneurs, and communicators. Most importantly, you’ll test your own ideas in real life — and experience the magic of watching an event you helped create come alive and make sense for others. Here, you’ll learn how to change the world. And what it truly means to make a difference.
