Trinkets and doodads, belts, scarves, bags, cushions, laptop sleeves, and jewelry for the body. Accessories are all around us — and for as long as humans have existed, we’ve decorated ourselves and our world. The ancient Greeks and Romans did it, the Vikings did it, and we still do it today.
Design as Storytelling
Accessories tell a story, and in this course, you become both designer and storyteller. You’ll work with research, idea development, and sketching.
By mixing different materials and craft techniques, you’ll create unique products and gain insight into what design is and what it can do.
