Analog Photography

analog Photography at
Odder Højskole

Odder Højskole offers you a whole week filled with the scent of vinegar and the thrilling suspense as images slowly emerge in the darkroom.

Working with analog photography teaches you how to find the perfect light and understand how a photograph truly works at its core.

Patience and technical insigt

Shooting with analog film isn’t easy — it takes patience, technical know-how, and creativity. In this course, you get the chance to learn the craft of photography from the very basics. This gives you a solid understanding of the technical side of photography, which you can carry over into the digital world.

Once you’ve mastered the technical side, a whole new world of creativity opens up! Knowing analog techniques will also make you much better at using a digital camera — the one you’ll mainly work with in the school’s larger Photography subject.

This subject is perfect whether you dream of a future as a professional photographer or just want to improve your photo skills.
