We start with you
The focus in Clothing Design is on your personal taste and skills when you begin. Both beginners and more experienced students are welcome. We work through the entire process—from choosing inspiration, sketching and drawing, selecting materials, cutting, to sewing.
You will become familiar with:
- Trends and sources of inspiration
- Drawing and illustration
- Collection building
- Model development
- Pattern construction
- Measuring
- Pattern adjustments
- Sewing techniques
Throughout the course, you will receive individual guidance on assigned tasks and your own creations. The course culminates in a fashion show where you can take on the roles of designer, stylist, and potentially model.Clothing Design is especially aimed at those considering design and craft schools. We collaborate with several institutions (including the Design School Kolding and VIA Design) and keep updated with their requirements. You can also get help preparing a portfolio.
