Collography at Odder Højskole
In collography, you spend a week exploring a special printmaking technique with countless artistic possibilities. You experiment with your own cardboard printing plate, working it with everything from ballpoint pens, etching needles, and nails to sandpaper, glue, tape, and various types of impressions.
Surprising and Unique Artistic Results
In this subject you create unique motifs by cutting, scratching, and tearing the cardboard, as well as by attaching different materials to the printing plate.
During the themed week, you will discover that collography is both a versatile and experimental printmaking technique. It has a distinctive tactile potential, often producing surprising and unique artistic results. Look forward to seeing how the final print turns out.
You might also be into other design or art subjects. You can try out Black and White, Drawing or Painting.
