In Design Projects, you’ll work with design across a variety of materials – not just textiles. From furniture to interior architecture, and from concrete to wood.
We explore the major revolutions in design history, moving from micro to macro trends to understand how trends emerge and who drives them. You’ll gain concrete knowledge about topics such as color psychology, spatial awareness, scents, visual communication, packaging, and logo design.
Hands-on experience with design Tasks
But we don’t just talk about it – you’ll gain hands-on experience through design assignments based on different themes and methods. The course constantly opens up to new sources of inspiration, and you’ll learn what it takes to go from idea to finished product. You’ll work closely with materials and their possibilities, creating designs in 1:1 scale.
This is an ideal subject if you’re considering applying to schools like Design School Kolding or The Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen.
