digital Design at
Odder Højskole
In Digital Design, we cast our own products in clay – everything from bowls and dishes to mugs and vases. We look at great examples from the world of industrial design and visit local production companies to gather inspiration for our own creations. The subject blends digital work – designing in 3D modeling programs – with the hands-on experience of casting in clay.
Creative processes and Design Development
In Digital Design, you gain insight into managing creative processes, design development, and production. Unlike Ceramics, which focuses on art, design, and the unique object, this course heads in the opposite direction, emphasizing serial production.
You will work with:
- 3D modeling software
- Casting clay products
- Industrial design
- Serial production
- Design development
If you’re into design development and creative processes, you can also explore other design subjects at the school. Who knows, maybe this will be a step towards a future in design.
