Ethics is about the big questions — the tough choices and complex dilemmas we face as human beings. It’s about the priorities we set when there’s no easy answer. In this course, your beliefs will be challenged — and you’ll challenge your friends in return.
From technology to medicine and politics
Together, we’ll dive into real-world issues involving technology, media, politics, medicine, biotechnology, and human behavior. We’ll discuss where the ethical line is — and who gets to draw it.
You’ll explore cases that ask:
- Is it ever okay to break the rules?
- Should we use gene editing to prevent disease?
- Can artificial intelligence make moral decisions?
- What responsibilities do influencers have toward their followers?
We’ll also look at how institutions like the Danish Council on Ethics arrive at their recommendations — and what it takes to turn values into public policy.
This course is for anyone who wants to think deeper, speak more clearly, and take part in the debates that shape our future.
