Mad X is Odder Folk High School’s culinary playground — where flavor, creativity, and curiosity come together. You’ll explore both timeless classics from world cuisines and push the limits of taste, decoration, and texture in experimental cooking.

Cooking is an endless challenge — and that’s the beauty of it. We gather in the school’s warm kitchen and dining hall, but also head outside to cook over open fire when the weather allows.
We’ve welcomed talented guest chefs from places like Restaurant Hærværk in Aarhus, and gone on ingredient-hunting adventures to places like The Garden of Ecology (Økologiens Have) here in Odder.
