We dive hands-on into digital photography, exploring the essentials of light, angles, and composition. You’ll get inspired by examples from some of the world’s greatest photographers and learn how they approach their craft.
You’ll work with camera techniques and image editing in Photoshop, mastering shutter speed, aperture, and different lenses. Whether you’re drawn to documentary storytelling or artistic photography, you’ll have the chance to explore what excites you most.
Become a Photographer
Throughout the subject, you’ll tackle a variety of assignments, from challenging reportage projects to staged, experimental shoots. We review and discuss your images together, diving into photography’s history, styles, and iconic works. You’ll also explore visual language and the role of photography in media.
This subject is a great starting point if you want to pursue photography professionally or simply want to take your picture-taking skills to the next level.If you’re hungry for even deeper technical skills and want to explore light and image-making further, we also offer a course in Analog Photography.
