In Sport & Fitness, you’ll explore the full potential of your body through movement, sports, and strength training.
Sport
In the sports track, you’ll try out a wide range of disciplines. We play classic team sports like football, volleyball, and basketball — but we also venture into alternative games like kin-ball and ultimate.You’ll gain insight into the physiological and psychological theories behind physical activity. And you’ll see how theory and practice connect — helping you understand what’s really happening in your body and brain during sport.
Fitness
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced lifter, you’ll improve your strength training technique. We cover anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology, and you’ll learn how to build training programs for yourself and others. We also dive into crossfit and cardio workouts to burn energy and build endurance.
strength through movement
Some sessions focus purely on movement — balance, flexibility, body control, and expanding your range of motion.
You’ll be challenged to discover what your body can do — and work toward specific goals like:
- Holding a handstand
- Increasing your flexibility
- Mastering a single pull-up
If the academic side of physical education excites you, this could be your first step toward studying sports science or human physiology at university.
