The world is full of stories waiting to be told. But how do we tell them? Where and when? In Storytelling, you’ll work with fictional narratives in everything from poetry to film.
We step into the world of fiction, writing poems, texts, and scripts. We’ll follow in the footsteps of great authors, directors, poets, and songwriters, exploring how they craft stories that truly move us. We also examine the media they use to bring those stories to life and connect with their audience. Together, we’ll dive into fiction to uncover what makes a story truly powerful.
Storytelling is timeless
Telling stories is one of the most fundamental parts of being human. We’ve always done it – and chances are, we always will. When we tell stories, we share our desires, doubts, and questions, becoming part of a long, living tradition.
Storytelling connects us across time and space. It makes us more than just individuals – it makes us a shared, speaking humanity.
Storytelling is a hands-on course that also ties in beautifully with other creative subjects – like making compelling films in Film Production, or developing strategic communication for Event Maker.
