Video art can sound a bit intimidating. But it really shouldn’t be. On the contrary – it’s a genre that frees you from the usual film conventions and lets you dive into bold, creative, and boundary-breaking productions.
In this theme week, we explore some of the most exciting and surprising works in the world of video art – and then we create our own. Together, we build experimental visual pieces and immersive experiences, which we present in a final exhibition.
A Film Lab for the curious and creative
This is a creative lab where you expand your understanding of what film can be. You’ll experiment, push limits, and discover new ways to express yourself through the moving image. You’ll go from idea to finished piece, and learn how to work conceptually and visually at the same time.
Video Art is a perfect playground – especially if you’re curious about visual storytelling and want to find new inspiration for making films. It also complements our course in Film Production if you want to explore both traditional and experimental approaches to filmmaking.
